Thermoplastic Marking for Private Industrial Sites

Thermoplastic Marking for Private Industrial Sites

Freight yards, car parks and high-turn private traffic areas place different demands on markings than internal warehouse floors. Substrate condition, traffic loading, drainage, weather and the approved site design all influence the system selected.

Where thermoplastic can help

Thermoplastic is commonly considered for durable symbols, bars, arrows and lines on suitable asphalt within private commercial and industrial facilities. Preformed material can produce consistent shapes and thickness, while applied thermoplastic systems suit other project types. Compatibility and installation temperature must be checked before use.

Paint remains practical for many car parks, low-to-moderate traffic areas and layouts likely to change. Other resin and cold-applied systems may suit specialised work. Selection should be based on whole-of-life value rather than product category alone.

Private-site project controls

Thermoplastic installation needs an approved facility layout, safe work zone, clean and dry substrate, suitable weather and protection from traffic during application and cooling. Existing markings may need removal where they conflict with the new layout.

Aus Line Marking provides this work within private commercial and industrial sites. It does not provide public-road line marking.
